re: library game
Library of Congress rather than Dewey decimal? Do a lot of colleges use Library of Congress then?
And, what’s up with the “I wanted a book, not a database.” responses? Am I actually supposed to be able to tell that from their questions? And why then, can’t I offer to get them what they want? (I get why I can’t ask questions as well, although that’s generally how it goes. They don’t call it a “reference interview” for nothing.)

Well, my college used LoC which I hated because I couldn’t figure it out by looking up plenty of books.
I didn’t care for the “I wanted a different medium” responses, either. Just seemed to add a bit of randomness to the game, I would have like it if it were part of the challenge.
On the other hand, it’s supposedly a beta, so maybe they’ll get that to be part of the game more smoothy.
