I’m not sure why I’m feeling excited over Grey’s Anatomy star T. R. Knight publicly coming out. Maybe it’s because his Grey’s character George has long struck me as that kind of offbeat brand of adorable (it’s probably the puppy dog eyes) or maybe it’s just that I’m finding it bloody refreshing to hear of a celebrity responding to gay rumors not with denials or by talking around the subject but offering the kind of nonchalant confirmation that Knight did or maybe it’s just nice to see a gay actor not wait until their career is almost over to be truthful with their audience.

Whatever, that little bit of news makes me happy, anyway.
