I know some fans are saddened by the news, but I am quite excited at the prospect.

I’ve enjoyed the series since I started reading it some seven years ago (yiiikes, has it really been that long?). It’s a well-crafted soap opera with engaging characters and compelling plots (and have I mentioned how refreshing it is to see romance cliches thrown at a same-sex couple, lately?). I’m really looking forward to seeing Francine and Katchoo reaching the end of their journey. This has been one romance where the tension has come from forces keeping the lead couple apart and I’m looking forward to seeing Francine and Katchoo getting their well-earned reward.
